We've had Ruby 6 Weeks Now...
She's such a chow-hound! Look at how big she's getting!
Ruby lifts all four feet for cleaning now. Yesterday she had her first experience being tied. She pulled back a little, but Michael stayed close to her for reassurance, and brushed her, and she tolerated it okay. He didn't want to push things, so it was a quick lesson. She's very trusting, and we want to keep it that way.
Ruby and Silver went on a walk together yesterday for the first time. Here they look so sweet, but Ruby is definitely asserting "Alpha Mare" intentions over Silver. It's very funny. She's probably not even a third his size - he's 1250 lbs and 16 hands.
