This website is owned and created by Nancy Kerson, a private citizen - I am not the givernment

Information about BLM adoptions is offered as a service, to help mustangs find homes and to promote public appreciation of wild horses and burros.

Please direct adoption questions to the BLM, not to me.

And I sure as heck am not a Mustang car dealership!

I have NO horses or burros for sale and not interested in buying or listing your sale animals!

Back to Gallery of HMA's

Here are pictures from Palomino Valley in the fall of 2003. Many of these horses will be in their Special Adoption on November 15.

Carter Reservoir mares

Carter Reservoir weanlings/yearlings

One of two palomino Carter babies

This solid chestnut guy is not the typical Carter Reservoir dun, but he's exceptionally well built.

Looking out over the Carter baby feeders

The one lone appaloosa in the Carter Reservoir bunch

I want this spotted guy so much, but I know he'll go quite high - everyone will want him

Carter Reservoir yearlings/weanlings

Carter mares

yearlings

An a-typical dun with lots of chrome

Carter Reservoir Medicine Hat mare

One of the geldings for November 15 adoption. He's from either Pine Nut, Desatoya, or Augusta Mtn HMA

One of the "general population" pens
(not Carter Reservoir, and not for the November 15 adoption)

Blue Wing burros

Pine Nut mares and foals

This fabulous flaxen chestnut was, I believe, from Desatoya. He might have been the best-built horse in the whole Adoption. I don't know if anyone adopted him or not.

Pine Nut gelding

Group of geldings who will be in the November 15 adoption. They are a mix of Pine Nut, Desatoya, and Augusta Mtn HMA's.
