Working with Wild Horses Second (Improved) Edition A Handbook of Gentling and Training Tips By Nancy Kerson
Paperback $22 or Downloadable E-Book $7.50 For more information about the BLM's Wild Horse and Burro Program, please call (866) 4MUSTANGS or Click HERE This website is owned and created by Nancy Kerson, a private citizen - I am not the BLM or any other branch of government! Information about BLM adoptions is offered as a service, to help mustangs find homes and to promote public appreciation of wild horses and burros.
Please direct adoption questions to the BLM, not to me. And I sure as heck am not a Mustang car dealership! I have NO horses or burros for sale and am not interested in buying or listing or otherwise promoting your sale animals! | This website: Copyright 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 All Rights Reserved. OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN WILD HORSE GENTLING:

| | | "Want a 100% guarantee that congressional staff will read your thoughts on an issue? If you publish a letter to the editor in your local newspaper and mention your members of Congress by name, media clipping services that monitor local press will ensure that your letter gets attention on the Hill. You will also reach the thousands of people in your community who read the paper and vote in your district. And your letter has the potential to influence how your newspaper covers a particular policy issue and how much attention the topic receives." - FCNL Washington Newsletter, April 2008, P2. |
WILD HORSE SOLUTIONS: Let's Petition for a US POSTAGE STAMP to SAVE MUSTANGS IN HOLDING FROM "EUTHANASIA."From Lesley Neuman: I joined the Wild Horse Solutions group last July. We are trying to raise money, etc. to help the wild horses in one way or another. Here is something you can pass along to anyone you think will sign the petition and perhaps pass out more petitions and gather signatures. We need lots of signatures to petition the "new stamp approval committee." One of the truly last of our American Heritage icons is on the verge of being annihilated. In order to raise funds and save these magnificent horses and burros (of which tens of thousands are still Wild and Free) from mass euthanasia we're petitioning for a national stamp ala the breast cancer stamp. The extra couple of cents will go directly to the care (feeding, water holes, fencing, etc.) of the horses.... not to salaries, overhead or the like. A Trust Fund has been set up for the monies. CLICK HERE FOR THE PETITION Print up as many petitions as you think you can get signed... please mail the completed form to: Wild Horse Solutions PO Box 1242 Prineville, OR 97754 (The address is also printed at the bottom of the petition.) Donations will also be gladly accepted... please make checks payable to Wild Horse Solutions and send to the same PO address. Wild Horse Solutions is a 501c3 non-profit organization. I've attached the petition. It would be great if you can get as many signatures as you can and then mail the petition back to the address at the bottom of the petition. You can obviously print out more than one copy, if you have more people than spaces on the petition. Or you can return petitions with any number of signatures. Please pass this email on to anyone who might be interested. I think it's a great way to raise funds. Thank You, - Lesley Neuman |
